  • [SailPoint] Agentic Fabric to secure AI identities. SailPoint announced SailPoint Agentic Fabric, for securing AI agents and NHIs at scale; it extends SailPoint’s current human identity focused capabilities to AI agents. SailPoint centers security on identity relationships, mapping every AI agent to the human owners, data, and systems it interacts with. Agentic Fabric delivers end-to-end security allowing organizations to discover (for a complete inventory of AI agents), govern (map agents to human owners, etc.), and protect (via real-item controls). • [Pentera] Gmail / Google Drive malware oops. Pentera found a flaw in how Gmail and Google Drive deal with malicious files, which allows bypassing of Google’s native security controls for sharing malicious files. There are two findings. The first is: files explicitly blocked by Gmail’s attachment scanner can be uploaded to Google Drive, and then shared through the platform’s native Drive-to-Gmail integration. These files are then delivered to recipients as standard-looking attachments complete with Gmail’s trusted safety label, despite the file having already been identified as malicious. Pentera
  • [WatchGuard] Perimeters.io acquisition. WatchGuard introduces a new Cloud Detection and Response service for MSPs, based on capabilities acquired via Perimeters.io. WatchGuard CloudDR uncovers cloud and identity threats with modern Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), unveils breach-inducing cloud security misconfigurations, and exposes shadow AI and IT risks that are notoriously difficult to detect and nearly impossible to manage manually at scale. It is the first and only offering in the cloud security market to address all three risks together in a single platform. By bringing Perimeters’ technology into WatchGuard’s MSP first ecosystem, advanced Cloud Application Security becomes operational, scalable, and commercially viable for service providers of any size. Over 40 services are on the initial support list. WatchGuard
  • [WatchGuard] Rai is always-on. WatchGuard released Rai, an AI agent focused on cybersecurity duties at MSPs. Rai is an always-on digital worker that operates as a true extension of the security team, detecting, correlating and responding to threats before human intervention is required. She continuously monitors environments, identifies threats and takes authorized action in real-time to reduce workload, speed response and provide more comprehensive coverage for partners and clients. Each action is transparent, measurable, and delivered in a single intelligence function. Rai has different roles: Analyst (for detection and response / available now), Auditor (for compliance / coming soon), and Admin (for operational tasks / coming soon). WatchGuard
