  • [CyCognito] New Continuous AI Pentesting. CyCognito added continuous AI-driven offensive pentesting to its exposure management platform, providing coverage for the traditionally overlooked 99% of exposed assets. Today’s [AI] models, with more advanced ones on the way, have lowered the bar for attackers. An attack campaign that once required a group of skilled threat actors can now be carried out by a low-skilled individual, in a fraction of the time and at relatively low cost. This signals a tectonic shift that compels defenders to adopt the same technology to keep pace and close the security gaps in their own environment. CyCognito
  • [Dragos] Acquired by Accenture. A majority stake Dragos was taken by Accenture, to strengthen its OT cybersecurity capabilities, plus full acquisition of runZero and NetRise, at a purchase price of $4.2 billion. The Dragos Platform will expand to cover the extended environment that controls physical processes, while Accenture’s deep OT security expertise, unique industrial datasets and decades of trusted relationships with critical infrastructure operators will address a need previously unaddressed at scale.   • [DigiCert] DMARC monitoring added to DigiCert UltraDNS. DigiCert announced the integration of DMARC monitoring via its Valimail acquisition into its UltraDNS service, for visibility into the services sending email on behalf of an organization’s domains. The UltraDNS platform allows users to automatically configure their DNS records required for DMARC monitoring while preserving existing mail flow and policy settings. This new capability enables organizations to monitor DMARC, SPF, and DKIM authentication activity through Valimail. DigiCert
  • [OpenAI] Daybreak for patching vulnerable software at machine speed. OpenAI expanded its Daybreak program for democratizing software patching, with new tools, the full version of its cyber model, a partnership program, and open-source support. Daybreak brings together the frontier cyber capabilities OpenAI’s models, Trusted Access for Cyber, Codex Security workflows, and ecosystem partners to help approved defenders validate vulnerabilities, prioritize risk, generate and test fixes, and produce evidence inside existing security and development workflows. Our goal is to provide organizations the tools they need to stay secure even as the cyberthreat landscape continues to accelerate.   • [Tigera] GA of Tigera Lynx. Tigera launched Lynx, for controlling Kubernetes-native AI agents and giving disparate enterprise teams a common way of understanding what’s happening. Lynx gives enterprises a single place to find every agent in their Kubernetes estate, tighten posture, assign a sandbox, give each agent cryptographic identity, enforce policy on every action it takes, audit what agents actually do and detect anomalous behavior — without changing a line of agent code.   • [Token] Human biometric approval for AI agents. Token expanded its capabilities to embrace AI agents and require human biometric approval in advance of high consequence actions. With Token, an AI agent can prepare work, recommend action, gather context, and request authorization. A second agent can inspect the request and verify whether it appears truthful and aligned with policy. But before a high consequence action can execute, the workflow stops at a Token biometric hard gate. The correct authorized human must approve the action using a Token biometric device.   • [Tanium] Atlas update. Tanium announced that its new Atlas autonomous operating system is available to all its customers, including those in the U.S. government. More than 1300 organizations are using Atlas just six weeks after launch. Results / impacts: e.g., When something breaks, Tanium Atlas doesn’t hand over a log to parse. It reconstructs the timeline, names exactly what changed and when, and points to the actual cause — turning a multi-hour investigation into a single answer, so teams contain and recover before damage spreads.
