News for today:

  • [IGEL] IGEL + Menlo Security. IGEL and Menlo Security announced a partnership that combines IGEL’s approach to endpoints with Menlo’s approach to secure enterprise browsers. The IGEL and Menlo Security partnership … [creates] a coordinated trust model that begins with the endpoint and extends into browser-based application access …. The joint solution reduces common integration and operational challenges that arise when endpoint and web security operate independently. Rather than adding more endpoint agents or routing browser-first workflows through full VDI sessions, security architects can align endpoint governance with browser-based access controls across the entire access path. • [Sophos] Sophos + Nozomi Networks. Sophos and Nozomi Networks announced a partnership, for the integration of Nozomi’s OT security platform with Sophos’s platform for visibility and threat detection across IT and OT environments. [The] integration brings Nozomi’s OT telemetry, asset intelligence, and threat data directly into Sophos Fusion, where it can be correlated with security data from across the customer’s IT environment without needing to switch contexts, putting OT intelligence directly where investigations happen to help security teams work faster and make better decisions. Sophos
  • [CloudEagle] SaaS renewal agents. CloudEagle added autonomous renewal agents to its SaaS management / governance / security platform, enabling procurement teams to quickly assemble all the required details on usage and value before engaging with the vendor on renewal terms. The agents pull the contract terms, usage numbers, and market pricing, reconcile it into a single recommendation, and hand procurement a negotiation position, drafted email included, so the team can focus on the negotiation itself …. In one recent renewal, the agents found that of 200 seats, 80 were sitting inactive and could be harvested back, cutting a 500-seat renewal down to a rightsized, multi-year commitment and lowering the annual cost by roughly $40k, delivered with a full comparison table and the key negotiation dates attached.
