News for today:

  • [Netwrix] Identity security for AI agents. Netwrix added new capabilities to Netwrix PingCastle and Netwrix Threat Manager to extend identity security protections to AI agents; the solutions work with Microsoft Entra ID. Netwrix PingCastle extends its Microsoft Entra ID coverage to 102 risk checks, extending the tool’s trusted Active Directory posture assessment into the cloud identity plane. Security teams and administrators can now assess identity risk across both on-premises AD and Entra ID with the same fast, prioritized approach that has made PingCastle a community favorite. Netwrix Threat Manager adds new visibility into AI agent identities in Microsoft Entra ID, giving security teams an inventory of the agents operating in their environment and the access they hold. There’s other new things, too. Netwrix
  • [F5] AI Gateway enhancements and integration. F5 enhanced the policy control capabilities of its F5 AI Gateway, and also integrated it with the F5 AI Security Platform. F5 AI Gateway puts tokenomics under control: the Model Gateway function attributes every token by provider, model, team, and user, per-team budgets enforce limits as spend occurs rather than after the invoice arrives; and automated optimization — smart routing and model tiering, semantic caching, and GPU-aware load balancing — routes each request to the right model at the right cost. The solution is designed to reduce token spend by up to 60 percent, with no application changes. The gateway has additional capabilities around MCP servers, sensitive data, and guardrail enforcement. • [Cribl] Acquired Radiant Security’s technology assets. Cribl acquired the technology assets of Radiant Security’s AI-native SOC product, with the intent of adding the technology as an app on its telemetry data platform. Cribl’s platform makes telemetry data actionable wherever it lives, fueling faster, more accurate threat investigations. AI SOC capabilities generate custom triage logic on the fly for each alert rather than relying on pre-built playbooks, and execute those investigations directly against telemetry data wherever it resides. Security teams will be able to detect threats and reduce false positives more effectively, transforming incident response into a seamless, high-fidelity operation. Cribl
