News for today:

  • [Sublime Security] Sublime Email DLP launched. Sublime Security GA’d a data loss prevention solution for email, to stop sensitive data loss via email. Sublime Email DLP takes a modern, AI-native approach, with two layers of analysis before delivery. Transparent detection logic flags potential violations based on message content, attachments, sender, recipients, and other conditions. ASA, Sublime’s Autonomous Security Analyst, then investigates each flagged message in context and returns a verdict with its reasoning. That verdict drives the configured response, whether that means blocking a violation or sending a benign message on its way. Together, these layers help teams stop real violations, keep legitimate email moving, and enforce DLP without adding operational burden. Sublime Security
  • [Descope] Family Accounts. Descope announced Family Accounts, a relational identity framework for consumer companies to manage identity relationships between people (parent-child, guardian-dependent, multi-family, etc.), which is important in consumer applications but not enterprise ones. Teams end up bending multi-tenancy into a household or writing their own delegation layer, leading to overburdened engineering teams, security risks, and inconsistent user experiences. Family Accounts puts these relationships in the identity layer itself, so every guardian and dependent user keeps their own identity and every action traces back to the person who took it. Descope
